This course is open to cadets that are Petty Officer 2nd Class (PO2) and above. This course is the actual PCOC course (Pleasure Craft Operators Course) the cadets do not get a badge for their uniforms however completing this course gets them their PCOC card which is good for life.
The instructor teaching this course will spend the entire week going through the material for the course and at the end of the week we have someone come in and give the cadets the test. Upon passing their test the cadets get a temporary card and after camp they will receive their PCOC card in the mail.
The cadets will also do other activities like the following
- Swimming
- Crafts
- Canoeing
- Sports
