The Boatswain course is open to all ranks and all cadets that complete this course can get the Boatswain badge for their uniform.
The course teaches the following
- Boatswain Call
- Naval Terminology
- Rope Work
- Times Bells and Watches
- Heaving Line
The cadets will also do other activities like the following
- Swimming
- Crafts
- Canoeing
- Sports
